Be nice, or go away.

This is a friendly place. The bar for entry is low. The bar for behaviour is reasonable.

   Pants are optional.

   You are welcome to comment and add your thoughts whether you are young, old, and do or do not have pants on. We do not check.

2. 2.

   No profanity.

   You should be smarter than that. The English language is enormous. Use a bigger word.

3. 3.

   No bigotry of ANY kind.

   Not even a little. Not even ironically. Not even because you saw it in a meme. Just no.

4. 4.

   Disagree freely.

   Argue with the idea, not the person. Bring receipts. Change your mind when proven wrong.

5. 5.

   Be nice — or go away.

   That's the whole rule. It is not difficult. We are all doing our best.
